From organizations and activities to internships and mentoring, our goal is to help you unearth your highest potential as a powerful, successful leader.

    Leadership Launch is Essential to Growing Leaders!

    Leadership Launch fosters leadership of newer members within student organizations and emerging first and second-year leaders in the College of Saint Mary community. This program highlights seven skills to becoming effective leaders that students should learn in growing their own leadership style:

    • Becoming Self Aware and Confident
    • Becoming Values Driven
    • Becoming a Good Communicator
    • Becoming Action-Oriented
    • Becoming Other-Oriented
    • Becoming a Strategic Thinker
    • Becoming a Visionary
       

    Graduates of this program have gone on to lead or start student organizations on campus, and have held leadership roles such as being a Student Orientation Staff member or Resident Advisor (RA).

    Step It Up: For Upper Class Students

    Juniors and Seniors have the unique opportunity to attend a series of five workshops during the spring semester on topics that help prepare students to go out into the world. Just 45-minutes long, each session is packed with helpful information on a range of topics that will assist students being successful long after graduation and into their professional lives.
