College of Saint Mary is a
pioneer in the careful education of women. Since our founding by the Sisters of
Mercy in 1923, women of all faiths, from all parts of the world and from
diverse backgrounds have studied education, the arts, sciences, business, and
health care professions.
CSM's excellent faculty
encourages students to expand their horizons and supports them in their
intellectual goals. Our campus is a vibrant part of the community as our
students take our tradition of values-centered learning into the world. Our
quality, broad-based course of study provides students with the environment
they need to think critically, express their faiths and engage in plans for
lifelong learning.
Through their years at
College of Saint Mary, students grow in knowledge, gain confidence in their
skills and expand their natural strengths in leadership positions.
As a Catholic university,
we ask the students to look at problems critically and develop rational
solutions through social action that ensures the dignity of all persons. The
University pays particular attention to equity for women in the worlds of work,
community and public policy.
We invite you to explore
the unique strengths offered by a Catholic women's education. This Website is a
great place to start, but nothing can replace the benefits of an on-campus
visit with one of our enrollment counselors. Please call our Enrollment
Services office at (402) 399-2405 or (800) 926-5534 to schedule an appointment.
We look forward to
welcoming you to campus.
