Biography: 

I am a philosopher, teacher, administrator, wife, and mother, among other things.  I was born in Florida, raised in Arkansas, attended school in New York and Iowa and finally made my way (in a blizzard) to Nebraska and CSM in January of 1999.  While in Iowa I confirmed by love for philosophy and I met my husband of 12 years - Bill O'Brien.  We have three sons - Oliver (10), Casey (8), and Cormac (6) - and two cats - ThelmaLou (16) and Claude (14).
