An education is more than the memorization of facts and dates, and much more than the ability to recite someone else's views and opinions.  At the College of Saint Mary, our faculty members are teachers first, focused on learning not lecturing.  They bring their subjects to life in an active and stimulating environment that incorporates new thinking and new technology.  Our small classes (12:1 student to faculty ratio) allow students to actively participate in the learning process.   

   

Here students are encouraged to think critically, engage in dialogue with other students and their instructors, and explore different subjects and different viewpoints.  The opportunity for learning extends beyond the classroom- preparing you to apply what you learn here to your life.
