Chang has taught courses in Calculus, Real Analysis, Statistics, Algebra, and Physics. Her research interests are linear regression and resistant dimension reduction. Jing holds a B.E. and M.Eng degrees from Central South University in PR China, a M.A. degree from Tennessee Technological University, and a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University. She joined the University in 2008.
Sand has taught courses in Algebra, Statistics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Mathematical Games, and Physics. His current areas of interest are the history of math and science, and current and future sources of energy. He holds a B.A. with a double major in mathematics and physics from Drake University, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Minnesota. He joined the University in 2010.
