Who is God? How are we to understand the relationship between God and humankind? Questions of this nature may express the most fundamental and pressing of all human inquiries.
Theology courses at College of Saint Mary explore faith and what it has to say about the fundamental purpose and meaning of all things, including our own existence. It seeks the deeper unity underlying all reality, its common origin and ultimate purpose.
CSM offers a fine undergraduate program in Theology, both as part of the University's core curriculum, and its own program for majors and minors.
Because Catholicism is a living tradition, the program is not confined to exclusively academic activity, but rather provides students with concrete opportunities to grow into a deeper understanding and experience of their faith. We are driven by the desire to see students develop morally, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually – while receiving a solid grounding in their faith and preparing to serve in society.
