 Sign up here to take the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills). You will be asked for credit card payment in order to confirm your registration. Please come to the Campus Information Center at the Walsh Hall entry on the southside of campus at the date and time you select. The receptionist will guide you to Ms. Joyce Baltz, the secretary in the nursing department, who will assist you in getting started with the test. The tests takes about 2.5 hours and it costs $40.
Due to a limited amount of space for each date, you will not be guaranteed a spot for the exam until we have received your payment. Please note that students who need to reschedule their exam or register for a second attempt will need to pay $40 for each date. You may only take the TEAS exam twice.
Preparing for the exam is crucial and highly recommended. To study beforehand, you may purchase a study guide online or in the CSM Campus Store. TEAS study guides are available on reserve in the Library. If you would like help preparing for the TEAS exam, we will be offering workshops for new and current CSM students.
To sign up for one of the math and/or science workshops, please email Mary Schlueter at mschlueter@csm.edu. To sign up for one of the English/grammar and/or reading workshops, please email Kevin Mahler at kmahler@csm.edu.
The TEAS Workshops are free for both new and current CSM stduents. They are designed to help guide your study efforts for the exam. Students who attend a workshop from each subject area and take the exam at CSM will receive a $40 credit to their tuition account once they enroll in classes. Students who attend a workshop from each subject area and take the exam a second time will receive an $80 credit to their tution account once they enroll in classes.
You are not allowed to use a calculator during the TEAS.
