College of Saint Mary joins
Yellow Ribbon Program
College of Saint Mary (CSM) is pleased
to announce it is now participating in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education
Enhancement Program through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (V.A.).
The Yellow Ribbon Program allows institutions of higher learning to voluntarily
enter into an agreement with the V.A. to fund tuition expenses that exceed the
highest public in-state tuition rate. Through this program, the institutions
can contribute up to 50% of those expenses with the V.A. matching that amount.
Through the program, College of Saint Mary offers individuals who qualify $8,000/year
for undergraduate study; $2,000/year for graduate classes; and $1,000/year for
doctoral study. Undergraduate programs at College of Saint Mary are open to
women only and all graduate and doctorate programs are open to both men and
women.
"We believe it is very important for us to partner with the V.A. in this
program," said Dr. Maryanne Stevens, RSM, College of Saint Mary president.
"This is one way CSM can contribute to making a difference in the lives of
these women and men who put their lives on the line for us."
Individuals interested in the Yellow Ribbon Program at CSM should contact College
of Saint Mary at (402) 399-2400 or visit www.CSM.edu
and click on "Future Students" and then "Registrar's Office" for more information.
