CSM OTD Graduate Earns National Research Award
A College of Saint Mary occupational therapy graduate was recently honored by the American Society of Hand Therapists.
McKenzie Osborne, Occupational Therapy Doctorate Class of 2024, received the First Time Researcher Award for her research project completed during the doctoral capstone experience at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. This award recognizes a first-time researcher’s contribution to evidence that supports the hand therapy profession and is highly competitive.
“Since it is awarded by the only national organization on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, it is a testament to the quality of McKenzie’s work from a specialized clinical perspective,” said Tara Ruppert, OTD, director of CSM’s occupational therapy program.
