College of Saint Mary Legal Studies Program Earns Ranking from Best Accredited Colleges
College of Saint Mary (CSM) is honored to have its legal studies program ranked as one of the best in the country, according to Best Accredited Colleges.
CSM’s legal studies program was ranked No. 43 on the organization’s Best Bachelor’s Degrees in Paralegal Studies list, based on data around financial aid awards, the quality of education, campus resources, and more.
“This is a great accolade,” said Susanne Miller, J.D., director of the legal studies program. “We’re honored to be recognized for a program that has served as a starting point for students seeking a law degree.”
CSM is the only college in the region to offer a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies program approved by the American Bar Association (ABA) and taught entirely by lawyers. It also is one of only 270 ABA-approved associate degree paralegal programs in the U.S. The program also serves as a pathway to law school and features a unique partnership with Creighton University that combines the fourth year of undergraduate work with the first year of law school.
