CSM’s Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program Moves Online
OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary (CSM) announced its Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program will move classes online this fall. The one-year program allows students to work full time while earning their certificates. The classes were previously held on campus.
“Changing the delivery format will make the program more accessible to students who live outside of our geographic area,” said Associate Professor and Program Director Susanne Miller, J.D. “Our certificate students typically have full-time jobs or other responsibilities, and our hope is that this format will make continuing their education a less daunting prospect.”
While some classes will be completely online, others will be conducted face-to-face via a remote platform, allowing students to interact with their classmates and professors.
“Building a network of colleagues is important in this field, so talking to and getting to know classmates and instructors with the ability to put faces to names promotes and fosters those connections,” Miller said.
CSM’s American Bar Association-approved program is the only program in the region where all major courses are taught by licensed attorneys.
