CSM’s Ed.D. program earns Top 10 ranking
OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary (CSM) is pleased to announce its online Doctor of Education program (Ed.D.) was recently ranked No. 6 Top Online Ed.D. Leadership degrees in the U.S. by Intelligent.com.
Intelligent.com is a trusted resource for online/on-campus program rankings and higher education planning. They review more than 2,900 colleges and universities recently released ratings based on curriculum quality, cost, graduation rate, flexibility, post-graduate employment, and faculty. CSM also was awarded the “Best Cohort Program.”
“We’re honored to receive this ranking, which is an acknowledgment of the university’s commitment to providing important and beneficial new learning opportunities in doctoral education that will heighten the future success of our students,” said Dr. Kimberly Allen, vice president for academic affairs.
“The Ed.D. program prepares doctoral students for success in leading and teaching in a multitude of areas,” added Dr. Kristi Preisman, director of the Ed.D. program. “The program’s online structure allows for flexibility, while the cohort program allows students to take classes with the same group of people who are also interested in moving up in their careers.”
CSM’s Doctor of Education program is a fully online, 51-credit program that can be completed in three years or part-time in five years. The courses focus on curriculum, assessment and quality improvement, teaching and learning theories and concepts, and leadership in educational organizations.
