CSM to Offer Apartments for Graduate Students
College of Saint Mary now offers apartment style housing for graduate students, with seven units available beginning August 1st, 2022.
Located on campus and within walking distance of Aksarben Village’s vibrant and bustling retail and entertainment space, the cozy yet spacious, one-bedroom apartments include a bedroom, den, living room, kitchen with appliances, bathroom, and in-unit laundry facilities.
Large windows offer plenty of bright, natural light, while glass doors open to a great outdoor space of either a deck or balcony. Each apartment also has one free enclosed parking space.
Rent, which is $1,300 a month, includes cable, Wi-Fi, electricity, gas and water. Pets other than fish are not allowed. Required service animals need approval from CSM’s ADA coordinator. To sign a lease, an individual must be enrolled in a graduate program at CSM - the rent could be split between two students for $650 each. Married or parenting CSM graduate students and their families are welcome to live in an apartment. While a meal plan in the campus dining hall is not included, graduate students can purchase one if they choose.
Initial leases begin August 1, 2022 and will continue through July 31, 2023. A $1,500 early termination fee will apply to move-outs or withdrawals prior to the lease’s conclusion. Renewal requests for 2023-24 will be due April 30, 2023.
