Inspiring Histories, Inspiring Lives: CSM to host “I Am Psyched!” National Tour
OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary (CSM) Psychology Program is excited to host the “I Am Psyched!” National Tour Exhibit from Feb. 13-25. Created by the American Psychological Association, this traveling, self-guided exhibit explores the history and contributions of women of color in psychology.
“We think it is essential to recognize the inspiring lives and significant contributions, past and present, of women of color in psychology,” says Dr. Molly Mahoney, CSM Professor of Psychology. “We invite the College of Saint Mary community and the public to visit this self-guided exhibit to learn more!”
The exhibit will be held in the Hixson-Lied Commons and accessible during these dates and times:
- Feb. 13, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Feb. 15, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 16, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 17, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 18, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 19, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Feb. 20, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Feb. 22, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 23, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 24, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Feb. 25, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

In partnership with the Cummings Center for the History of Psychology, Psychology’s Feminist Voices, and the I am Psyched! Girls Advisory Committee, APA created the exhibit to engage young women of color in exploring how psychology benefits daily life.
