The Art Minor
A minor in art will help you hone your skills and talent, develop personal insight, expand your imagination and increase your self-discipline, initiative and confidence. We are committed to the concept that art is expressive of the whole person: intellect, emotion and spirit. We also believe that a self-disciplined education in the liberal arts provides a core experience for meeting life on any terms.
For a minor in art, you must successfully complete 18 credit hours of art courses, including one art history course and the following courses:
- Color and Design
- Basic Drawing
- Beginning Painting
