The Biology Minor
A minor in biology is a great supplement to any other science, math or education major. Having a biology minor will help prepare you to apply to graduate or professional level programs, including dental or medical school.
For a minor in biology, you must successfully complete 20 credit hours and earn a GPA of 2.5 or better in all biology and supporting field courses, including the following:
- General Biology and General Biology Lab
- Zoology and Zoology Lab
- Botany and Botany Lab
- 8 hours of biology electives
A minor in Biology will help prepare you to apply to graduate or professional level programs including dental or medical school.
